Sorry for the late update, after we celebrated our birthday girl today, I forgot I needed to put my update up!
Today’s organizing and decluttering project was to organize and declutter your toy area or if you are out of that season, your craft or hobby area.
To be honest, I needed to work on both of these areas but I chose the toy area. I figured in the long run, it would provide more stress relief if I took care of the toys.
I enlisted the help of the two youngest children and got to work. Even though it is very hard for them to let go of toys, they are getting better at doing the more I work with them on it. I was very proud of them! Each found about 5 toys each that they were able to put in the donate box.
We worked on the totes one by one and threw away the broken toys (there are always a few) and put things back in their places.
How did you do on decluttering and organizing today?
(Have you missed the previous challenges? Don’t worry you can jump in right where we are in the series and go back later if you want to catch up or just finish out what we’re working on with us! I’m so happy that you are joining us in organizing and decluttering your home!)
