Today’s challenge was organizing and decluttering your mind.
I have been feeling a little overwhelmed lately because I’ve been too relaxed on using my planner. I decided to take today and get myself put back together by organizing my planner by adding the 12 appointments that were written on appointment cards I had previously stuck on the fridge (which was taken off when I decluttered it last week). I threw the cards away after I had written the appointments in the planner and also added them on my phone. (I love the alarm reminder that the phone has to keep me on task).
I had set my goals for the week last night so I printed those out where I will be seeing them and therefore do not forget about them!
I then made my meal plan for the week and printed it out as well!
I just finished my to-do list for tomorrow (I have a dentist appointment, the girls have ballet, we have a wrestling duel, and girl scouts. I also need to meet a gal who bought a pair of shoes off of Facebook and take in a paper for the kids for 4-H. I thought I was telling you all to declutter your life….hmm REALLY?!? I am actually simplifying a little bit by taking the girls to ballet on Thursday instead (which we have no other commitments that day.)
I also scheduled in some time for myself on Friday and made a note to call to make E.N.T. appointments for the 2 littles tomorrow. I also got out some hamburger to thaw for tomorrow’s lunch.
None of these are huge things that I got done but by taking care of them now, it will save me time later and I don’t have to think about it again. That’s the point of decluttering and organizing the mind.
