Today’s decluttering task was to clean off your dresser, dust it, and make it pretty! I can’t say that I changed any of the decor on the dresser but that’s because I love what’s on it. This is the first thing I see each morning when I wake up, and what’s better than seeing your family? (Especially your family when they are happy!)
Your organizing task was to clean out 2 drawers and get rid of anything that is stained, has holes, or doesn’t fit. I also asked you to get rid of anything you haven’t worn in 6 months unless it’s seasonal and you’ll be wearing it again soon and to put like items back with like items.
I started with emptying the drawers I was working on. Then I took our little Shop-Vac and vacuumed out the drawers.
Once the drawers were clean, I went through each item and if it was something to keep, I put it away. Otherwise it either went in the donate pile or trash. (One of the drawers was Jason’s work shirts so if the shirts weren’t worth keeping they went in the trash.).
All in all, I have a small bag if donations, several things that got thrown away and the beginning of an organized bedroom!
How’d you do on your projects?
