Last week was an emotional roller coaster so I’m very happy to begin a new week! You can see what we were up to here!
How have you all been doing with your goals?
Last Week’s Goals:
Spiritual Goals:
- To go to church on Sunday. We missed again. I ended up taking David to the doctor on Saturday where he was diagnosed as having a mild case of bronchitis (it was just starting). We opted to stay home and not infect anyone at church.
To pray for each member of my family every day.
Marriage Goals:
Go on a date night this weekWrite a love note to Jason
Parenting Goals:
Spend 15 minutes individually each day with the kids helping them work on something the struggle with at school, snuggling, or doing something fun.Write a love note to each
Family Goals:
Start reading The Original Adventures of Hank the Cowdog.Eat together each evening.
Homemaking Goals:
Declutter 10 objects each day.Find 5 things to list on Facebook to sell and get them on it.Create a meal plan and stick to it.Clean deskand book shelf.
Self-Care:
Find one activity each day to increase movement.Take care of my dry hands and skin.- Get on the elliptical at least once. I am going to have to start scheduling this in my planner. I’ve been doing a great job when I have things written down but not so great when I don’t!
Personal Goals:
To write at least 500 words a day.- Read Chapters 11-13 in Clutter Free: Quick and Easy Steps to Simplifying Your Space

- Write a love note to Jason
- Read 2 Chapters in Happy Habits for Every Couple. I received this book from Kathi to review and I’m so excited about it!
Parenting Goals:
- Spend 15 minutes individually each day with the kids helping them work on something that they are struggling on at school, snuggling, or doing a fun project.
- Write a love note to each child
Family Goals:
- Read 5 chapters in The Original Adventures of Hank the Cowdog.
- Make cards for Great Grandma’s birthday
Homemaking Goals:
- Declutter 10 objects each day.
- Find 8 things to list on Facebook to sell and get them on it.
- Create a meal plan and stick to it.
- Clean book shelf and list 5 books on paperbackswap.com.
Self-Care:
- Find one activity each day to increase movement.
- Take care of my dry hands and skin.
- Get on the elliptical three times.
Personal Goals:
- To write at least 500 words a day.
