Welcome to a new week! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and were able to get some intentional rest! We didn’t have much rest but we did definitely have some great family time yesterday.
We were busy but it was a nice weekend. Our oldest had volleyball Saturday and it’s been so much fun watching her and her team grow this year. They are a fun group of girls!
Yesterday it was too wet to harvest so Jason was home with us. That’s always nice after he’s been working so many late hours and we haven’t seen nearly enough of him the last few weeks.
The girls and I tackled one of the bedrooms and are in the process of reorganizing and weeding out items that we no longer need. I’d like to be able to refinish a vanity I bought recently and put into the room. I’m going to work on the bench this week! Refinishing and repurposing furniture has definitely turned into a fun hobby for me!
At the blog I’m continuing the 31 Days of Intentional Living series. This has been a stretch getting in a post everyday (as some have been posted at 11 P.M.) but it’s also been a nice challenge.
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Schedule an at home date night with Jason.
2. Read with the twins EVERY day and go through their sight words/math homework EVERY day.
3. Take the kids to the park.
4. Buy tickets for Secret Keeper Girl for the 2 older girls and finalize our friends’ orders. We are excited about going!
5. Finalize Halloween costumes with kids and buy/order/make what we need.
Intentional Homemaking:
6. Research Occupational Therapists and fun activities we can do at home to help middle daughter with patterns, etc. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed after our appointment last week so I’m hoping to calm myself down!
7. Make “Momma Homework Notebooks” for the younger kids.
8. Make crockpot applesauce and find a recipe for crockpot apple butter
Intentional Self-Care:
9. Drink 6 glasses of water each day
10. Exercise 4 times this week. I’ve been feeling tense and overwhelmed the last week. I need to get my exercise in! I think I got 4 days done but I never kept track! Oops!
11. Pray first thing in the morning every day and place a few sticky notes around the house reminding me to pray throughout the day. I didn’t get this done every day like I had hoped. Still work to do!
Intentional Blogging:
12. Continue with 31 Days Of Living With Intention. I hope you will be joining me each day as we go through October!
13. Spend 15 minutes on Pinterest each day- Have you followed me yet? If not, this week I’m pinning to my Simplify Your Life, Home Management Board, Hospitality, and Halloween!
14. Finish Unit 2 for my class

Have you enjoyed what you read here today? Do you have friends or other women you know that could benefit from this resource? If so, please do me a favor! I have included the links below to share with other intentional women! They’ll be glad you did!
I’m working on a 31 days series this month too. It is a challenge writing everyday. Each year I think I will take the year off, but there is just something about the challenge or writing everyday that I love.
It’s such a great idea to start on your series for December now. I wish I would have started in August the series I’m doing this month.
Hope you have a great week!
