Yay for a new week! Last week was crazy, busy, but also purposeful. I was happy with how my goals list turned out, not perfect but progress!
Last week I also explained how and why this blog came to be as well as why I do goal posts each week. I hope you were inspired to set some goals for yourself!

Spiritual Goals:
Pray each dayPractice gratitude each day
Marriage Goals:
Have a date night.Write a love note to Jason.Continue birthday and anniversary shopping.
Family Goals:
Do 3 things to encourage kindness as a family this week.Remind Maddie to practice speech each eveningBegin vision therapy exercises at homeSchedule Cub Scout meeting
Homemaking Goals:
- Sell $50 worth of stuff on Facebook exchange
Clean refrigerator- Tweak kitchen design…I’m starting to second guess myself on what I want and need. I need a stove…I want a custom baking center… Curse you Pinterest!! 🙂
Self-Care:
Take care of my dry hands and skin.- Get on the at least elliptical three times.
Go on 2 walks.
Personal Goals:
- Read 2 chapters of Own Your Life: Living with Deep Intention, Bold Faith, and Generous Love.
- Read 2 Chapters of Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World
- Finish reading Almost Amish: One Woman’s Quest for a Slower, Simpler, More Sustainable Life. I am on chapter 7 of this and even though I don’t agree with every point the author makes, I’m really getting some great ideas for simpler living! Almost finished!
Finish reading Notes from a Blue Bike: The Art of Living Intentionally in a Chaotic World. LOVE this book. I read 3/4 of it in one day because I couldn’t put it down!

Continue new “renew and refresh” series and the Biblical kindness series!- Pin links from Women With Intention Wednesday. Still working on them all!
This Week’s Goals:
Spiritual Goals:
- Pray each day
- Practice gratitude each day
- Go to church on Sunday.
Marriage Goals:
- Have a date night.
- Write a love note to Jason.
- Finish birthday and anniversary shopping.
Family Goals:
- Do 3 things to encourage kindness as a family this week.
- Remind Maddie to practice speech each evening
- Complete week 2 of vision therapy exercises at home with Nora.
Homemaking Goals:
- Sell $50 worth of stuff on Facebook exchange
- Put away winter items
- Tweak kitchen design
Self-Care:
- Take care of my dry hands and skin.
- Get on the at least elliptical three times.
- Go on 2 walks.
- Start tracking weight in Erin Condren planner. I finally bought a new scale and some really cute stickers to track my progress. (Yes, I need all the motivation I can get!)
Personal Goals:
- Read 2 chapters of Own Your Life: Living with Deep Intention, Bold Faith, and Generous Love.
- Read 2 Chapters of Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World
- Finish reading Almost Amish: One Woman’s Quest for a Slower, Simpler, More Sustainable Life.
- Read 2 ebooks from the new Ultimate Homemaking Bundle (I’ve already read One Bite at a Time and it’s a must read to organizing your life!)
