31 Days Of Decluttering In December: Day 3

December 3, 2013 by Jenny Leave a Comment

31DaysDeclutter

Good Morning!  Welcome to Day 3 of our 31 Days of Decluttering In December!  I hope you were able to join in yesterday’s challenge!  If  not the links for the previous days will be at the bottom of this post.  Tuesday is my Bible Study morning and the girls have ballet at night.  Therefore, I am busier than most other days so I am saving a little larger challenge for later in the week.

Today’s challenge is to take your recycling items to the proper recycling facility!  (For those of you with curbside recycling, I am so jealous of you!)  I have an entire tote of newspapers, several cardboard boxes, some plastic containers, and about 10 trash bags full of pop cans to recycle.  I despise taking the pop cans so this is probably a once a year activity but they take up a lot of room in one of our buildings so they need to go!  The rest of the recycling is stored on the porch but also takes up a lot of room and I always feel it looks tacky if people see it when they come over.

For those you who this challenge doesn’t apply to, have no fear!  Your challenge is decluttering and organizing the cupboard under your kitchen sink.

If you want to complete both challenges, please do it!  I have been specifically trying to  make them manageable so even if you work full-time outside the home, you can still join us and see some significant progress in your home when we are finished decluttering!

If you want to link up, snap a picture and do so, meeting back at 6 CST!  For those of you who don’t blog, leave a comment and tell us how you did on eliminating your recycling items and decluttering under your sink!
