Good Morning! Welcome to Day 2 of our 31 Days of Decluttering in December Challenge! I hope you were able to participate yesterday in our first challenge!
Monday’s are always a little difficult getting back into the swing of a new week so today’s challenge shouldn’t take longer than 10-15 minutes (maybe 30 minutes if you do both challenges)!
Today’s decluttering challenge is: gather up all of your borrowed items and take what you have borrowed back to the person or place the items belong to!
If you don’t have anything borrowed from anyone, that’s awesome! Your decluttering challenge is to clean out your silverware drawer in your kitchen. Don’t forget to throw away what’s broken and eliminate what you will no longer be using either by selling or blessing someone else!
(And yes, you overachievers can do both decluttering challenges if you please!)
Do you (or your kids) have library books that need returned? Have you rented movies, borrowed clothes, books, or other things from a friend, have items that are other family members that have been forgotten at your house, or have dishes that need to be returned after Thanksgiving?
Today is the day to get those things out of your house and back to where they belong. Hanging on to items we’ve borrowed can cost us in overdue fees, the space it takes up in our home, and sometimes can cause bad feelings with the person we have borrowed the item from if we’ve had it a long time!
If you want to link up, snap a picture and do so, meeting back at 6 CST! For those of you who don’t blog, leave a comment and let us know what you found to eliminate from your household!
