It’s a new week so you know that means new goals! Last week I wasn’t very good at following through on my goals list but I did get a lot done. This week I’m hoping to follow my list a little closer and knock some of these things off! It’s going to be a really wild week!
Jason is harvesting which means long days and not very much time at home. Harvest is always a hard time of year for the family because it’s hard to stay on schedule when you’re dependent on the weather, moving equipment from one field to another, and of course, everyone misses Dad. But the silver lining is that it’s also the time of year that Jason’s hard work pays off (hopefully) with a bountiful harvest.
My middle daughter is going to a vision specialist to check her eye sight this week (she has perfect vision) but we think there might be a problem with how she processes the information she’s looking at (aka she might not be reading left to right, etc). So we’re doing some testing. Hopefully it’s not a problem but if it is, we want to get it taken care of.
At the blog we will be starting a new series called 31 Days of Intentional Living. I’m so excited about this series and hope you all will benefit from it and love it, too!
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have a date night, make Jason’s lunch for when he’s in the combine & put love notes inside the cooler.

Intentional Self-Care:
9. Drink 6 glasses of water each day- Did alright but didn’t keep track and know I didn’t get all of my water in last week!

If you need help setting goals, check out these posts on helping you get started:

Oh my goodness, I love this!
I am terrible at making goals, especially long-term goals (yes, weekly goals=long term goals to me:).
I am praying about doing a series like this on my own blog. I think I really need it!

Do you find that publicly posting your goals helps you achieve them?
Jenny says
Hi Tami! Yes, I do find it helps me a lot. (It’s actually one of the reasons I started this blog because I wanted to be able to have my goals in one place and be able to see progress!) Honestly, I can’t stand doing my recap the next week and not being able to cross off things so it keeps me motivated and if I know Monday is approaching it keeps me inspired to finish! 🙂
