I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a great weekend celebrating with friends and family.
Last week was busy as ever! I keep thinking life is going to slow down but it hasn’t yet! (Hopefully this week!) Here are the 5 things I loved:
-
Softball and baseball season came to an end!
We had a wonderful ball season. All four kids improved so much from last year and each enjoyed playing with their friends. Maddie’s team played in the league championship Wednesday and played a wonderful game. For the moment I’m super happy ball season is over but give me about 3 days and I’ll be missing it again. We love ball!
-
We have a shingled home!
Our house is starting to look like a house! Last week we chose our bathtubs, toilets, faucets, and the electrician started wiring. We spent a lot of time figuring out what we wanted which I found to be really stressful trying to choose things that will be in my home quite possibly forever! It’s a different mentality when you’re building your “forever” home.
-
We L.O.V.E. Mr. Buddy Moots!
My mom and step dad welcomed a new Boston Terrier puppy into their home this week. We don’t have our own dog and the kids are on cloud 9! Mr. Buddy Moots is an instant family favorite! He is truly a baby…either sleeping or very active and we fell in love instantly with this little guy! It makes me laugh that our cats are bigger than he is, I’m used to much larger dogs! The kids got to help name the little guy and now think that every dog needs a first and last name.

It’s 2 weeks until fair!
We are in the final fair countdown which means we are working with the animals several times a day. The animals have been enjoying their baths and we have too! It was 100° today and that cold water felt fantastic!
-
Independence Day celebrations!
We were blessed to be invited to several parties with friends and family. We enjoyed celebrating my nephew’s birthday and lighting off fireworks with friends. Two nights in a row were rough on Arianna but after sleeping in today she’s back to her normal, fun self!
