I’d love to hear how you are all doing on your goals! Here’s my progress from last week and my new goals for this week:
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have weekly date night with Jason & write a love note
2. Email Bethany on Girls Group & Complete First Project Preparation
3. Continue working on reading with the twins at least 3 nights.
4. Keep up on our Elf on the Shelf- (our Elf is not being naughty this year and finding things that are “good” are actually harder than the “naughty”… She’s going to be sending a lot of notes and bringing little treats for good behavior.
5. Complete Christmas Traditions of Hot Cocoa & Christmas Lights, Christmas Eve Church, & Enjoy Christmas!
Intentional Homemaking:
6. Complete the challenges for 31 Days of Decluttering in December
7. Finish gift wrapping
8. Put plastic on windows in the 2 bedrooms (our old farm-house is quite drafty!)
9. Make 2 kinds of Christmas cookies
Intentional Self-Care:
10. Stick my hands in the hand wax each day this week & lotion 2 x a day. My hands are so dry they are cracking! OUCH! The biggest problem is I’m allergic to many lotions so it’s hard to keep them moisturized without breaking out.
11. Finish Cold Tangerines: Celebrating the Extraordinary Nature of Everyday Life Well I tried to finish this while I was waiting in the doctor’s office on Saturday but it was so good, but so sad that I was having a hard time not crying so I had to quit. I didn’t want to look like the crazy lady bawling in the waiting room! I will get done this week!
Intentional Blogging:
12. Continue 31 Days of Decluttering in December series
13. Complete the list of improvements I made yesterday to make to the blog.

10. Stick my hands in the hand wax each day this week & lotion 2 x a day. My hands are so dry they are cracking! OUCH! The biggest problem is I’m allergic to many lotions so it’s hard to keep them moisturized without breaking out.

Ouch! I feel your pain about the dry hands.Have you considered slathering Vaseline or coconut on at night and then wearing gloves to bed? Good job on all your goals, you’re much more ambitious than I am 🙂
Shelly says
I second the coconut oil or Vaseline at night with gloves. It works wonders on my hands.
This week most of my goals have to do with planning for the new year. I hope you have a great week.
Jenny says
I will have to try coconut oil. Thanks for the suggestions!
