Summer vacation is quickly approaching which means swimming, going to the park and lots outside fun for our family. However, there are always those days that are TOO hot or TOO rainy to do any fun outside activities. These days can quickly lead to chaos in the house and disagreements among the kids if I don’t have a plan.
Today’s challenge is to make a plan for those days. We will making a rainy day kit to combat those rainy day blues! This kit can be small or large and what you put in it is up to you. When you are making your kit think about what your children enjoy doing. Board games, movies, art supplies or a new Matchbox car are just a few things you could include in your rainy day kit.
Here are some rainy day kit ideas for you! Just remember, when you make your kit, put it away or it won’t be a treat if they play with the items before the rainy day!
