Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Welcome to another week of Women With Intention Wednesdays!
This week I’m featuring two great posts! I’m excited to feature Bridget at Becoming A Godly Wife with her very real post Dealing With Resentment In Your Marriage and Kelsey of Kelsey M. Ferguson with her great post Finding Peace In The Midst Of Daily Chaos.
I hope you have all been enjoying this link up, I know that I enjoy your posts and community! Thank you for helping make it successful each week by not only following the rules but for writing such great posts! I really enjoy them!
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just keep them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
-
For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit the blogger before you and your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! I’ve had a few bloggers email me who haven’t had any clicks and there were more last week than any before. Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured post. I will only feature and pin your post if you have followed the rules. All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂
In order to help grow this community with great posts and relationships, I would love it if you would add the party button to your sidebar, your blog directory page, or a text link at the bottom of your post. This isn’t required to participate in the link-up but I would really appreciate it!

If you were featured be sure to grab a button for your site! Thank you for linking up and sharing your great posts!

Community building question of the week: What is one hobby you enjoy doing?
I have felt lately that I’ve lost my creative edge so I’m hobby shopping! 🙂 My main hobby right now is blogging which is second to reading! Other than that it seems my family and their activities take up a lot of our hobby time. How about you?
My hobbies are the same as yours: blogging and reading. My favorite part of blogging is definitely the content creation. I love to write. I try to make sure I free write (even for just a couple minutes) every day.
Thanks for featuring my post this week! I’m loving Women With Intention Wednesday’s! Thanks for hosting!
Well, I hate to sound like an echo from you and Kelsey; but I would have to say that reading is my first hobby and writing would be second. I LOVE learning and books provide that satisfaction for me. Writing provides that creative outlet to share what God’s done/doing in my life.
🙂 great minds think alike!
Thank you for featuring my post 🙂 My hobby would be actually be writing, followed closely by reading and then of course watching television on occasion.
Same same! Looks like we all have that in common : )
I also love cooking and baking!!
Well this blogging “hobby” is consuming my time. I have also added gardening to my days…it’s my new spring/summer hobby!
I enjoy sending cards to people who need a boost of encouragement. I love to read and have a new stack of books from the library to tackle this summer! Oddly enough, I also enjoy some cleaning projects….though keeping up with the messes of 4 kids is exhausting! But I love how things look when I complete a cleaning project.
Blogging is my biggest hobby I guess you’d say, but I also enjoy bible journaling.
Alyssa, I have been wanting to be more consistent with that!
My hobby right now is blogging…but if I need to relax I like to do crafts!
My biggest hobby, and one that I’ve had as long as I can remember, is reading. If I don’t have a book in hand, I feel a bit lost! Lately, I’ve enjoyed reading historical detective/mystery stories. Love learning about the history of earlier times, and of course, I love a good who-dun-it!!
Thanks for hosting this community! I enjoy it!
GOD BLESS!
I enjoy it, too! Reading is my favorite, too! 🙂
What a great question. In my latest post I’m talking about permission to have fun. A hobby would be something that would be “FUN” to do. And sadly now that I think about it, I haven’t been doing any hobbies. Right now it seems like every minute is dedicated to doing that which MUST be doing leaving no time for hobbies. Then that leads me to think, “What is really a hobby?” Even though I enjoy reading and writing I do that because God has given me the desire to learn and to share what I’ve learned but I think that more as doing ministry than a hobby. Oh, Photography, yes. That’s one of my hobbies and one I enjoy. Though in recent years I’ve minimized that by mostly shooting from my iPhone. I don’t bring out my big dawg Nikon D80 as much as I’d like. So your prompt inspires me to look up a photography class so I can sharpen my hobby and have fun 🙂 BTW I’m visiting based on a mention from Equipping Godly Women. Glad she suggested I come over.
I’m glad you visited! Welcome! :). I’m a huge proponent of Self-Care and write about if often (including a monthly Self-Care calendar). Having hobbies and giving yourself permission all go hand in hand with Self-Care! Have you read The Fringe Hours:Making Time For You? It’s wonderfully packed with tips to find time for those things! Thanks for the visit and hope to see you again!
I think over the years my hobbies have changed with the seasons of life – Reading has always been a big one for me, but recently so has camping with the family. It’s something we all enjoy, it gives us time together and yet time to step away from the day to day busy of life. Plus is gives me time to read – a win, win in my book.
Hi Jenny, it is so refreshing to find a link party with Christian themed blogs. I added two of mine that were inspired by our ladies retreat last weekend. I found your blog and link up from Sue at Sizzling Towards Sixty. thank you for hosting!
