Happy Wednesday! Thanks for joining in the party! I have had the pleasure of volunteering in the 3rd grade classroom this week in the mornings working with small groups of readers. This has been so fun but didn’t leave much room for blogging so far!
When I became a stay at home mom, my vow was to be able to volunteer at school and go on field trips to make memories with my kids and I have been blessed to do both this week. God’s calling at work…such a beautiful thing!
I hope you are all having a fantastic week!

Welcome to a new week of Women With Intention!
I’m very happy to feature Tangi from The Caver’s Wife with her post 5 Tips For Successful Homemaking. Thank you all for linking up! There were some great reads this week!
Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
-
For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit the blogger before you and your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured blogger and possibly another post such as the most popular post. I will only feature you and the most popular posts if you have followed the rules (otherwise I’ll move on to the next most popular post). All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂
I’d love for you to add a button to help spread the word about Women With Intention Wednesdays (thank you)!

My family loves beans. The packaged ones, like pinto beans.I usually soak them over night. Then cook them in a slow cooker until they are done.If not slow cooker,in a pot on the stove.
I love the onion tomato soup from scratch, add a bit of gravy then mix it up.Its good to eat with rice or just as a snack .
I am of African origin so we do love soup ie stuff 🙂
Will come back for the link badge
Thanks for the opportunity

Pulled pork in the slow cooker is great for a crowd.
I guess my go-to is the old faithful roast and vegetables for Sunday dinner.

Jenny, enjoy every moment of volunteering in your children’s schools. The years pass quickly and those times are such fun! Blessings!

How fun that you volunteer at school. I homeschooled so I didn’t get to do that per se. ha. But now that my daughter IS a schoolteacher, she lets me volunteer in her classroom. 🙂 So it all works out. We’re going on a field trip next week to a pumpkin patch so I’m excited about that.
I never use a Dutch oven, but use my crock pot mainly for cooking spaghetti sauce. 🙂 Or occasionally soup of some type.

I love making soups in the slow cooker. My favorites are an african peanut stew with kale, and just simple tortilla soups or chilis. So yummy and smells great!

I have a really good slow-cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup on my Tasty Tuesday section of my blog. And, thank you Jen for the weekly linkup.
