Now that I’ve turned the calendar to December and we have snow on the ground, I’m ready to celebrate the Christmas season! One Christmas tradition our family enjoys is cozying up in blankets and watching a Christmas movie together.
We are very fortunate to have a library that has a lot of Christmas movies but many of these we own because the kids have checked them out over and over again! Here is the ultimate list of awe I listed my favorite first, I’d love to know which is your favorite!
Dr. Seuss – How the Grinch Stole Christmas/Horton Hears a Who
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (Special Edition)
The Original Christmas Classics Gift Set
Peanuts: I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown (Deluxe Edition)
Prep & Landing: Totally Tinsel Collection
Little House on Prairie: Merry Ingalls Christmas
The Berenstain Bears: Christmas Tree
Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tales
A Flintstone Christmas Collection
Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas
It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas
Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas Special
Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The Ultimate Christmas Collection
Wow! That was a list. Which is your favorite Christmas movie?
Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
It’s December! 2015 will soon be unwinding and it will be time for new resolutions and goals. I don’t know about you but I’m embracing this December, hoping it goes slowly and that I can really enjoy the spirit of the Christmas season.
This week I’m featuring Elizabeth at Guilty Chocoholic Mama with her post Surprised by Good.
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
-
For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit the blogger before you and your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured post. I will only feature and pin your post if you have followed the rules. All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂
In order to help grow this community with great posts and relationships, I would love it if you would add the party button to your sidebar, your blog directory page, or a text link at the bottom of your post. This isn’t required to participate in the link-up but I would really appreciate it!
If you were featured be sure to grab a button for your site! Thank you for linking up and sharing your great posts!

Community building questions of the week: Are you done Christmas shopping? Who is the hardest person to shop for on your list?
I am close but not done yet! My dad is the hardest on my list, and he is one of the last ones that I need to shop for!
Elizabeth @ Guilty Chocoholic Mama says
Jenny, thank you so much! I am humbled and honored that you’ve chosen to feature a story I love so much. (Spoiler alert: THIS Thanksgiving was, in fact, very good! 🙂 ) And I love your movie list…so many of our favorites are on there. We’re midway through “Elf” right now! As for my Christmas shopping: I am SO not close to being done, I can’t even talk about it. My in-laws are the hardest to buy for because they have everything they need and buy for themselves everything they want! Thank you again for the sweet shout-out…have a blessed Advent season. Oh, come, oh come, Immanuel–the With-Us God!

Very cool list and I have watched all of them. Have you ever seen “A Wonderful Christmas” (Feliz Navidad), it’s like the Spanish version to “A Christmas Story” and it is very funny and heartwarming at the same time. Another fun Christmas movie is “Christmas in the Clouds.” You should check those out. Blessings to you and have a wonderful Christmas season. Thanks as always for this Wednesday link-up community.

I am not done with my Christmas shopping because I have not even started 🙁 But I am heading out tonight for a bit. I loved this list of movies as I will browse back through & pick one for my granddaughters. There are so many wonderful Christmas movies which bring back such precious memories of years past. I always enjoy stopping here for #WomenWithIntention.

Hi Jenny! We aren’t done Christmas shopping. I think a lot of people on our list can be hard to shop for because we try our best to be thoughtful, and not give the same thing we gave the year before. 🙂

I love this list of Christmas movies! We don’t own all of them, but we own some of them and we have a tradition of watching all of our movies as well as some we rent throughout the holiday season. We usually start with Christmas vacation on Thanksgiving at whichever of our adult children’s homes we are visiting, but this year both of our grandchildren were steeped in homework and one had two basketball games so we missed it. Thanks for the fun list! No snow here in Ohio yet, but maybe later this month. #WomenWithIntention.

I enjoy Elf! And Charlie Brown’s Christmas is always a favorite.
Rose @ Walnut Acre says
Thank for hosting this party 🙂
Michele Morin says
Wow, that really was a list! My hardest gift to choose is my mum’s just because her life gets smaller every year — no hobbies, no interests, she doesn’t enjoy reading . . .
Kelsie says
I love all these movies SO much. We actually watched Home Alone last night! Thanks for hosting!
Donna @ Soul Survival says
Jenny, what a great list! I will definitely have to get a couple for my grandchildren. The younger ones never tire of Christmas movies. One year they must have watched “Elf” 25 or 30 times! My husband and I still chuckle when we think of it. Thanks, also, for hosting each week. December blessings!

These movies bring me back to a simpler time… my favorite are The Santa Claus movies, Charlie Brown and Rudolph. <3

I appreciate it when people share what they enjoy. Thanks so much.

Wow! Jenny, you’ve listed all of the greats! I see so many of my favorites and some that are from my childhood that bring back such sweet memories! Thanks so much for sharing and thanks so much for hosting! GOD bless you, beautiful friend! 🙂
Ciara @ Favored Mom says
Wowzers! That is quite the list!! I’ve been wanting to find some family Christmas movies.. we’ve been watching Curious George over and over again.. (which I love)! Now, I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to write these all down… may have to be good ole’ pen and paper! 😉
Keri says
I love this list! So many favorites here. I am far from being done with shopping! My mother in law is the hardest for me to shop for because she has everything!
June says
Great list! My all-time favorite is White Christmas, with Bing Crosby and A Christmas Carol w/George C Scott. The best! Blessings on your advent!
