It’s Friday! Some of you are exhausted, burnt out, and can’t wait to get off of work and start your weekend! I know how you feel!
I went to bed last night mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted. It had been a long day. But today is a new day, a great day!
Today is the first day of spring and the day of international happiness! I looked out this morning at my tulips which are about 4 inches tall. A sign of new life and growth.
Tulips are my favorite flowers. They signify happiness to me. They’re beautiful, fragile, and vibrant.
This morning when I was writing out my to-do list (which I do every morning) I was inspired to do a “different” kind of to-do list. This one is more important. I hope at the end of today I will be able to say I did each one!
Life is more than crossing random tasks off of a list. It’s about growing as a person, having a purpose, family, God, doing your best, loving others, friends, feeling emotions, and experiencing life.
It’s more than if you have a clean kitchen counter or a clean shower. It’s about playing tag with your kids, having coffee with your husband, putting away the cell phones, and laughing with a friend. It’s about being concerned about others, loving others and enjoying the happiness that life can bring.
How about you? What’s on your to-do list today? Are you choosing a life with happiness?
Have you enjoyed what you read here today? Do you have friends or other women you know that could benefit from this resource? If so, please do me a favor! I have included the links below to share with other intentional women! They’ll be glad you did!
Yes, it’s so easy to get caught up in the work and to-do’s and miss the most important things. I did have a pretty successful day as far as getting actual work done, but the house is still not totally cleaned because I decided to stop and just take time for the most important things- my husband and 3 precious kiddos. I’m sure I’ll have regrets looking back on these years, but I really want to try to live intentionally now, so that they are few!
