Being intentional women, one of the ways we strive to help our households is by saving money. In the next few weeks I will be showing you some different ways to save money beyond using traditional coupons. I will also be showing you some other money saving tricks so stay tuned and I hope that you find at least one new way to save some money for your household!
Ibotta is a free app that you download onto your smart phone. Here’s how it works:
The first thing you need to do is sign up for Ibotta.
Next, you look at the rebates and decided which you plan to buy at the store. You unlock the rebates by completing a short survey, watching a short video or completing a fun task and it adds the cash to your account.
Shopping is next. You purchase the product at the approved retailer or preferred partner. (I have found that with many of these items, there are also coupons and or sales to go along with it, making it an outstanding price! Some of the approved retailers are Target, Wal-Mart, Dollar General, Sam’s Club, Hy-Vee, Whole Foods, and Walgreens, just to name a few!)
When you get home, snap a picture of your receipt by clicking “redeem” and your cash will be added to your account.
You can use Paypal (as soon as you reach $5) to transfer your money to your account or also redeem gift cards (as soon as you reach $2) when you want to cash out.
Have you tried Ibotta yet? I have found it very easy to use, have you?

Great point. I have Ibotta on my phone but always forget to use it. I’m going to pin it to remind myself 🙂 Visiting from Wholehearted Wednesdays link up party 🙂
