2016! A new start full of promise, hope, and excitement!
I love sitting down and planning the new year. It’s a blank calendar ready to be filled with dreams and experiences!
My 2016 One Word is delight.
When I sat down to work on my 2016 goals, I wanted to be sure that working on these goals (as well as accomplishing these goals) would bring me delight. (What would be the point if they weren’t really worth chasing?)
I’ve set goals in the past that I thought I “should do”. Increasing Facebook and Pinterest followers, home projects, and other ideas that didn’t have any drive behind them except for the ” should do” or “should be because…”.
This year I’m really wanting to carry out some of those but only those that bring me delight.
I only have 6 goals for 2016!
The main reason for that is because if I carry out those 6 goals, many other smaller (and possibly less delightful) will also be accomplished (how awesome is that).
Here are my 2016 Goals:
Marriage:
*Enjoy an overnight without the kids. My marriage is one of my top priorities and to have a great marriage, it takes work. I wish we could do an overnight once a month but that’s not realistic. The things you really have to work for bring the most delight!
Challenge Goals:
*Complete a mini-challenge each month.
I haven’t set all the mini-challenges for the year yet because I want the flexibility to change as I go. Here are a few that I’m considering: exercise, a month of zero spending, waking up earlier, meal preparation (planning, freezer cooking, etc), Bible journaling, and taking vitamins to name a few. (I’d love for you to join me on this journey!)
Financial:
*Payoff student loan.
This is a lofty goal because I want to do it without help from the farm. My goal is to earn enough side income from It Works sales, Women With Intention, and other side hustles to make the extra payments.
Women With Intention:
*Develop 5 products. I’m very, very excited about this! I’ve collaborated and brainstormed ways to help you all live with more intention and purpose (and I think you will love these products!) I’m hoping to have the first products out by March!
Personal:
*Allow myself to grow creatively.
I have some big dreams that fear and the lack of knowing the ins and outs have kept me from pursuing them.
*Continue the KonMari method throughout the house. My goal is to finish in 2016. This goal scares me but would definitely bring me delight!
That’s it!
What are your 2016 goals?

I am doing mini goals or challenges each month also! Being active every day is the plan for January.
I’m looking forward to seeing what products you come up with.

I love the idea of mini-challenges. I have monthly goals. This month, I am focusing on organizing, and I have read a lot about the KonMari system. Not exactly implementing it yet, but looking into it. I will be checking out your other posts on the topic 🙂
