As women, life can get very complex balancing all the hats we wear. You know what??? Balance is hard.
I can’t count the times I’ve had a plan and mayhem (I’ve always loved that word but even more now that it’s on insurance commercials!) blew that plan into tiny remnants. When that happens we need to extend some grace.
I’ve been working on a side project for months and it’s coming together in crazy awesome blessings. However it takes time to nurture as I’ve been methodically putting the pieces together. My house isn’t as clean as I’d like, the kids probably could’ve used a few extra baths, and the blog has definitely taken a hit but I’m pursuing a dream. And it’s awesome.
During these busy times, grace is so important. So before I apologize for a funky link up, here’s a tiny glimpse of my life the past week:
- Our oldest daughter received a concussion last Thursday. We’re hoping she can go to school starting tomorrow after physical therapy. Thankful she was ok and did not get sick til she got home from her volleyball game.
- We got a new puppy. Yes, self-inflicted but we are loving him…but oh so much work!
- Jason’s knee-deep in harvest. He’s been gone a lot so I’ve got to pick up some extra slack at home. It also means late nights, early mornings, and a lot of sad little people that dad’s gone.
So I’m including the link-up. There’s no feature this week. I just can’t get it all done. Please link up, enjoy and spread fellowship. Extend grace to all. You never know what others are going through. Next week a feature…I hope! 🙂
