Here is my list of items to stockpile. Remember, each of us will have our own unique list. What works for me, won’t necessarily work for you!
I have seen many lists which include dry beans. That’s a great idea if you first, know what to do with them (I don’t) and second if your family will eat them! I have never used or prepared dry beans in my life, except for buying them so my boys could play farm with them! Stocking up on dry beans for my family is most likely wasteful because not only do I not know what to do with them, but my family probably wouldn’t eat them! I can’t afford to be wasteful, I want to be prepared.
Don’t forget diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, etc if you have a baby! That season has passed at my house so I didn’t include it on my list! If you are not sure what else to include on yours, open your cupboards and look to see what you have inside. There’s the beginning of your list of items to stockpile!
