This is going to be one crazy/busy/chaotic/happy/mixed emotion week! Here are just a few of the things happening at our home this week:
- Our youngest is getting her ear drum patched on Tuesday
- School starts Wednesday
- Thursday we have a special birthday boy turning 5 which means family, cake, ice cream and presents!
- Friday the special birthday boy is having a friend come to play and then we are off to celebrate a local celebration
And now you know why giving myself grace is on my goal’s list below 🙂
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have date night and write Jason a love note
2. Allow each child to have a friend over to play before school starts next week. The kids had a rough day fighting with each other and lost this privilege!
3. Help oldest send out thank you notes
4. Read 10 books aloud to kids
Intentional Homemaking:
5. Print out vacation and 4-H pictures
6. Deep clean kitchen
7. Can spaghetti sauce didn’t get this one done
8. Freeze peaches I made jelly instead of freezing them
Intentional Self-Care:
9. Continue working on 21 Days To Form A New Habit
10. Go to doctor’s appointment
11. Stay on track with Weight Watcher’s
12. Read 3 chapters in The Cure for the “Perfect” Life (I got an advanced copy of this book to review on the blog! I’m about halfway through and am loving this book!)
Intentional Blogging:
13. Write 3 blog posts and be more consistent in blogging!
This Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have date night on Monday and write Jason a love note
2. Read with the twins EVERY day.
3. Work with the youngest two doing “momma school” for 15 minutes every day.
4. Celebrate our soon to be 5 year old’s birthday (I bought his presents yesterday so at least that is done!)
5. Spend 5-10 minutes talking to our oldest before bed each night about school, friends, etc.
Intentional Homemaking:
6. Finish making peach jelly
7. Pick veggies from garden and freeze peppers and onions
8. Find clothes for the kids for school pictures next Monday
Intentional Self-Care:
9. Continue working on 21 Days To Form A New Habit – reading my bible
10. Stay on track with Weight Watcher’s
11. Finish The Cure for the “Perfect” Life and write blog post about it.
12. Give myself grace.
Intentional Blogging:
13. Start 31 days of blogging challenge to be more consistent in blogging!
