If someone took away all of your possessions and left you ONE product, what would you want it to be?

I saw this question and thought I would have an easy time answering it! (To be honest, my very first thought was I’d keep my Erin Condren life planner because I’m lost without it!)
The more I thought about it, I decided it would be my phone! It’s not the phone itself that I love, it’s what it does for me! Therefore, my smart phone is the one product I can not live without (well maybe I could…but I don’t want to!)
I save money by using my phone!
Yesterday after I went shopping, I scanned in my receipts and received $28.30 back from Ibotta, $6.00 from Savings Star, $2 from Snap by Groupon and $.25 from Checkout 51!
I needed to order my husband some new work pants from Cabelas. I hopped on Ebates (my favorite for buying online and earning cash back) for my 2% cash back, found a code for free shipping and ordered his jeans while we drove to check cows (without him even knowing it)!
Later that day, my oldest daughter reminded me that she was wanting a book that we couldn’t find locally. I hopped on Amazon and within a minute or two the book was on it’s way.
I stay connected!
Whether I write a new blog post, communicate on my Facebook page, pin my favorite posts to Pinterest, tweet, share a picture of our very fat, upside down, sleepy cat on Instagram, hop on Google +, check the weather, or write an email you a friend my phone can help me accomplish all of those tasks!
I take more pictures of my family!
I’ve never been very good at hauling around a camera. I can snap a photo, upload it to any social media account and it’s there for whoever I want to share it with to see. Today I almost forgot to take a picture of David’s Kindergarten Round Up. Because I had my phone in my purse, I grabbed it and now we have a “Kodak moment” for him later in life.
I can find my way around cities I never thought possible.
Thanks to Google Maps, it’s so much easier to travel! When you live on a farm, big city commuting is not something that I ever want to have to do. Even with our frequent trips to Omaha, I’ve been able to navigate my way to the clinic and other business that otherwise I probably wouldn’t have attempted because I’ve always been bad with directions!
I can call my husband when I have a flat tire.
I know it’s 2015 and the damsel in distress has been replaced by Super Woman. However, I’m no good at changing tires. I never have been, never will be. Luckily for me (and my bad luck with flat tires) I have a very caring husband who is always willing to rescue me during these crises!
These are just a few reasons that I love my phone. Bottom line…I love the convenience. I can shut it off when I need quiet or want to play with my kids or snuggle with my husband.
What is one product you can’t live without?
Welcome to the Focused Fridays One Thing (#ffOneThing) Linkup!
This is a monthly link up that will be featured here on the first Friday of every month! Unlike most link ups, #ffOneThing invites you to create a post focused on one thing you would like to share! Don’t have a blog? Share your response to the prompt in the comments!
In April our theme was “One Defining Moment”. My favorite post from last month was from Penelope at Be Fabulous On A Budget with the brave post about defining moments. I can not imagine leaving my home country with my family and friends for a new one in hopes of finding a better life. How scary!
May’s Theme: One Product That I Can’t Live Without
Please write a post in response to the prompt, One Product That I Can’t Live Without and link it up below. You can also share your response in the comments, if you don’t have a blog.
For those of you who like to plan ahead, in June our theme will be: One Accomplishment I Am Proud Of. Look for the next link-up here on Friday, June 5th.

I chose my iPhone also. While I know we can live without, it makes life so much easier.
