My family loves fruit pizza. I’ve made many recipes where you make your own dough (which is tasty but is a little more time consuming!) I love this recipe because it’s delicious and is super easy to make. My girls love helping make this tasty treat and I hope your family will love it as well!
Crust:
1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (We used Pillsbury that comes in a roll)
Filling:
1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
2 tablespoons of fruit juices
fruit, as desired (We used strawberries, the peaches that I froze last fall, and bananas. We have also used pineapple, grapes, mandarin oranges, and apples.)
Topping and Glaze
1 1/2 c. fruit juices
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions:
- Roll out cookie dough onto a pizza pan or a jelly roll pan to make your crust. Bake cookie dough according to directions on the package. Let cool.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of fruit juices together and spread on crust. Arrange the fruit on top of the filling
- For the topping and glaze, mix 1 1/2 cup of fruit juices with the cornstarch and thicken over heat. Cool and pour over fruit. Refrigerate!
