Welcome back to my 31 Days of Decluttering In December! If you have missed any days in this series, no problem! You can find each day here!
Christmas is 10 days away! Unbelievable, isn’t it?
We’ve been working really hard decluttering the kitchen, our Master Bedroom, and the entryway. I’m so happy with the progress in my home, I hope you are, too!
Today we are having a more relaxed assignment that I hope will enjoyable and help you prep for Christmas! Today’s assignment is spending 30 minutes doing whatever you need to do to prep for Christmas.
After our vacation last week, I have a pile of stuff for the kids that I need to wrap or they are going to find it. I am working on wrapping gifts today. I also am at the point in my shopping that I might be about done, but I haven’t been very good at writing what I’ve bought on my gift list so as I wrap, I will be writing down the gift on my gift list and marking that I wrapped it.
Here are some different ideas for you if you don’t need to wrap presents:
- Get your presents ready for your kids’ teachers, bus drivers, etc.
- Clean a part of your house we haven’t touched yet if you are hosting the holiday! Tomorrow we’ll be doing the living room and Wednesday will be the Dining Room to give you a head start!
- Go through your lists. Do you need to get groceries for hosting a party or dinner? Do you need paper plates, silverware or napkins?
- Do a Christmas devotion.
- Go shopping to finish off your list!
- Make some desserts you can freeze or deliver for early Christmas presents.
- Finish up a homemade gift.
What will you be working on today for your Christmas prep assignment? Tell me in the comments!
