Wednesday is the day of the week where I take an intentional step to cross something off my “I wish that was done…” list. This wish needs to be accomplished today! (I usually aim for less than one hour to complete to to be safe that I will get it done). The goal of Wishful Wednesday to to be able to mark that wish off the list.
A few examples of Wishful Wednesday projects are:
- Cleaning out the refrigerator
- Changing out seasonal clothes for a child
- Declutter a closet or drawer
- Taking down Halloween decorations and getting out the Thanksgiving decor.
This fall, I canned as much as I could from our garden (which was the first time I’ve attempted that alone!) I canned salsa, tomatoes, and spaghetti sauce. I am so excited to have all of this delicious food now that the weather is changing. However, we live in an old farm house with very little storage. So I need to get creative which leads me to my own project today: cleaning out the closet under the stair case and assembling some shelves to store the recently canned food.
Anyone who has visited us lately will probably tell you, I have quite the pile of canning supplies stacked in my dining room. It’s time to get them out of here and put away! I will check back this evening with my progress.
What is one wish you can remove off your own “I wish that was done…” list. It doesn’t have to be a big task, but I guarantee if you choose something and are able to mark it off your list, you will have a great feeling of accomplishment! Feel free to link up or leave a comment!
