Welcome to my new blog! My dream is for this blog to be a gathering place for women to come together, share, and grow. Each of us has intentions and this is a place to encourage and lift each other up! This is also a place to find help with accountability so that our intentions are fulfilled and our goals are accomplished.
When I looked up Intention in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary I found this as one of the definitions: the thing that you plan to do or achieve; an aim or purpose.
After the birth of my fourth child (and having three little ones under 2 years old) I realized that unless I learned to intentionally live my life with some discipline, the days would pass by without me noticing what I had or hadn’t done. Soon, the laundry had piled up out of the laundry room, I was out of diapers, hadn’t had a shower in 2 days, and had no idea what was for supper!
I have always been a planner, list maker, goal setter, and dreamer…but I haven’t always been the best at following through on all of my goals, dreams and intentions. Some of the follow through problems come from the fact that I have 5 growing kids and a busy life, but the majority are simply discipline problems. I can’t count how many times I’ve made a grocery list and clipped coupons to save some money, only to realize as I’m at the checkout, that the coupons are at home on the kitchen counter. Or to make matters worse, I forgot the list to start with. I find this to be completely frustrating!
Every woman has a busy life! Too many days are rushed and before you know it, the day is over. Work, marriage, kids, and various activities all contribute to the many hats we wear on a daily basis. I think women can become so overwhelmed with busy lives that sometimes we don’t even know where to start. If you can relate, take a breath, sister! This is the place for you! This is the community where we can all grow together, hopefully having some fun along the way!
What are a few of your daily frustrations that you could use some help eliminating?
