Do you meal plan?
After way too many nights of not having a plan and running 15 miles into town for unhealthy, expensive take out, I got tired of bad food and being fast food poor.
Meal planning has many benefits! I save money by not buying take out. I know what to buy at the grocery store! I am not as stressed when it’s time to eat because I have a plan!
Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Each week, I quickly sketch out my meal plan. I’ve learned to be simple and flexible because we are busy with activities or Jason might be working late or need my help on the farm.
I make fairly easy meals during the week and more complicated ones on the weekends when I have more time at home (and can include my kids in the prep work).
