This is Day 11 of a 31 day series on Biblical kindness. You can find the rest of the posts here!
“Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out.” Frank A. Clark
Have you ever been in line at the drive through only to find out when you got to the window that the nice person in front of you had already paid for your order?
Random acts of kindness have become a popular way for people to give something back without needing glorification for doing so. If you have ever done them for others or have received the kindness from a stranger, I’m sure you understand why.
They are fun to do!
It’s fun to bless others and to feel good in return. It’s also a great way to show your kids how to love others the way Jesus did.
You can print Hebrews 13:2 here!
Today my challenge is to get out and do. It’s a beautiful day and there are memories to be made. I love this verse from Hebrews. We never know what strangers are going through, what battles they face, and who has hurt them. It’s comforting to know that by spreading random acts of kindness, that we can make a difference. It might be a momentary difference, but it’s a difference nonetheless!
Here are some fun random acts of kindness ideas:
*Donate used books to the church library, your local library, or hospital waiting room
*Leave a 100% tip (in cash)
*Leave diaper coupons on the changing table at church or your favorite store
*Leave change in a washing machine at the Laundromat
*Leave change in a soda machine
*Mail a card to a child with cancer
*Send a package to soldiers overseas
*Drop off a package of diapers at a pregnancy crisis center
*Take a load of groceries to the food pantry
What is your favorite random act of kindness that you have done or know that someone else has done?

My mom was just in the hospital for knee replacement surgery. My daughter and I delivered flowers to the nurses and colored cards for the other patients. Made our wait at the hospital a little bit of fun by focusing on others! Thank you for all your great ideas! Keep them coming!
