Welcome back to my 31 Days of Decluttering In December! If you have missed any days in this series, no problem! You can find each day here!
I hope after the last 2 days that your Master Bedroom is become more of a haven than a mess! I know mine is getting closer to looking like the room I love to retreat to!
Today is our final of decluttering and organizing the Master Bedroom. Whoo hoo!
Today’s challenge is to finish your Master Bedroom. If you have a ceiling fan, start with dusting that! If you make a mess it will fall on your bedding and you will have time to vacuum it up if it goes on the floor!
The next thing to do if you have time, is to wash your bedding. If you have a second set of bedding and don’t have your winter blankets on yet, today would be a good day to change them out! If you don’t have enough time to do the bedding, skip it for your regular laundry day!
After getting the bedding into the washing machine, I am moving on to decluttering the dresser drawers (one by one in case you get interrupted). As you go through each drawer, throw away anything that has holes or stains. If you have clothing that doesn’t fit and is in good condition, decide whether to try to sell it or donate it. (If you haven’t grab a bag or box to put those items in.)
Finally I will be vacuuming my room and putting the bed back together. I hope you enjoy your clean, decluttered Master Bedroom and it feels like the oasis you deserve!
Don’t forget to add your own personal touches to make your Master Bedroom comfortable and inviting…for you!
