This is Day 14 of a 31 day series on Biblical kindness. You can find the rest of the posts here!
“Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness.” Lucius Annaeus Seneca
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the last year is that there are no guarantees in life. People get married, others get sick, friends get divorced, teens commit suicide, loved ones get cancer…the only commonality is that in each of these situations, no one expected any of those events to happen!
I love this verse in Psalm 36 because life is unpredictable. No matter how well we plan or pray, things happen each day that are out of our control.
The one constant through each trial is that God is always there to offer love and kindness. Even when we don’t know the answer to why, or when, or even what… he’s there protecting us and sheltering us from the storm.
You can print Psalms 36:7 here!
For all of you dealing with “stuff” right now, you can rest under the shadow of God’s wing. He has it open and extended, ready to gather you up, wrap you in love like a warm fuzzy blanket and hold you through the storm.
