Last week was one of the very few weeks that I didn’t set any goals online. My only goals were to have fun on vacation and come home refreshed (which were accomplished except for being tired from staying up late)! We had a great time at the NFR and enjoyed Las Vegas. My favorite part of going out when we do is to go look at the Christmas decorations at the various hotels and casinos. The NFR is always the first 2 weeks of December and being a midwest girl, it doesn’t feel like Christmas in Las Vegas at all with warmer temperatures and palm trees unless you look at the decorations! The Bellagio was my favorite!
We decided to fly out from Denver which meant a 5 hour trip in the car. For 2 adults who don’t get much time to talk between 5 kids and random conversations it was heavenly. I was able to work on my 2015 Erin Condren planner, have some great conversations with my husband and I am over half way through Pursue the Intentional Life. I am so glad I bought this book. I’d be finished with it but I’ve been taking notes and trying to really absorb all the great wisdom of Jean Fleming (and there is a lot of it in this book). This will definitely be a book that I keep on the shelf to reference again.
We have a 2 Christmas programs, Ballet & Jazz program, basketball practice, Christmas Party, and my birthday on top of a few other things. It should be a fun week!
This Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have a date night with Jason.
2. Schedule meeting with Nora’s new reading coach.
3. Take lots of pictures at the programs and enjoy my family.
Intentional Homemaking:
4. Finish Christmas shopping. I am always done shopping by now and I’m not even close. It’s driving me nuts! I’ll be sitting at the computer a lot the next few days wrapping up this shopping!
5. Continue 31 Days of Decluttering Challenge in my own home!
6. Finish Christmas Cards
7. Make Snowball cookies with the kids (one of my favorite Christmas cookies! We’ll be making my other favorite, Lemon Snowflake Cookies next week!)
Intentional Self-Care:
8. Drink 6 glasses of water each day.
9. Get 7 1/2 hours of sleep each night.
Intentional Blogging:
10. Finish writing 31 Days Of Decluttering In December.
11. Write 3 posts for next week.
12. Finalize “One Word” for 2015
What are your goals for the week? Have you written them down? Did you have a “One Word” in 2014?
