Welcome back to a new week of goals! Over the weekend my peaches and pears I ordered arrived so I have another week of canning food coming up. We also have a field trip this week and most of our fall activities start this week so it will be a busy one!
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have date night and write Jason a love note
2. Read with the twins EVERY day and go through their sight words EVERY day. Download a game on the Ipad to help with sight words.
3. Work with the youngest two doing “momma school” for 15 minutes every day.
4. Spend 30 minutes after the kids get home each day “hands free” of cell phone, computers, and other electronics. The idea is to give them my undivided attention for these 30 minutes and spend intentional time discussing their day, helping with homework, snacks, and giving them some well-deserved “mom time.”
Intentional Homemaking:
5. Make more homemade spaghetti sauce (I have 22 quarts now…we’re making progress!) I’m up to 37 quarts (we ate one last night for supper! Delicious!)
6. Pick veggies from garden and freeze peppers and onions
7. Find 10 things to sell on Facebook.
Intentional Self-Care:
8. Drink 6 glasses of water each day. Write down everything I eat so I can calculate Weight Watcher’s points I did better on my eating this week than I have in the past so I’m excited to hop on the scale on Wednesday!
9. Start September’s new habit. This month ‘s habit is exercising for at least 15 minutes 5 days a week. I CAN DO THIS! I’d love it if you’d join me!
10. Complete each day of September’s Self-Care Calendar.
11. Finish The Economy of You: Discover Your Inner Entrepreneur and Recession-Proof Your Life
Intentional Blogging:
12. Continue posting each day for the 31 days of blogging challenge to be more consistent in blogging! I took the weekend off to spend some well needed time with my family but I’m very happy with how much blogging I got in last week!
13. Spend 15 minutes each morning working on my Pinterest boards.
This Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have an at home date night (Jason’s doing some custom farming right now and is gone from around 7 A.M. to about 9:00 P.M. each day so we probably won’t be able to get a sitter to “go out”) and write Jason a love note
2. Read with the twins EVERY day and go through their sight words/math homework EVERY day.
3. Work with the youngest two doing “momma school” for 15 minutes every day.
4. Get everyone to their activities cheerfully. (We have a lot this week).
Intentional Homemaking:
5. Make homemade spaghetti sauce (I’m getting closer to being done with this but my tomato plants are still producing about every other day to make more.)
6. Pick veggies from garden and freeze peppers and onions
7. Can pears and peaches. I’ve never done these before so it will be a new experience! I’ve always froze my peaches in the past but am out of freezer space!
Intentional Self-Care:
8. Drink 6 glasses of water each day
9. Continue working on 21 Days To Form A New Habit – Exercise 15 minutes a day! I know I can keep doing this, I’m feeling really proud of myself I’ve kept it up so far! Feel free to join in! There are still 21 days in September so you could start today!
10. Stay on track with Weight Watcher’s.
11. Complete September’s Self-Care challenges
Intentional Blogging:
12. Have a post each day for the 31 days of blogging challenge to be more consistent in blogging!
13. Spend 15 minutes on Pinterest each day
What are your goals for the week? Have you written them down? I have noticed with my goals that have been on there about 4 weeks have become habits when I have done them consistently! I highly encourage you to try it out!

Great goals! What an impressive amount of spaghetti sauce. Maybe some day I’ll have a garden. . . It would be fun to do some canning as well – something else I’ve never attempted. Dehydrating apples and making and freezing applesauce is about the extent of my food preservation skills at the moment.
