Welcome to a new week! It’s another hot and busy week in July! We have one week until fair which means every day we are giving the animals baths, they’ll need a hair cut and the kids have been busy working with them multiple times a day. It’s a lot of work but watching them love up on their animals and learn about what it takes to keep them healthy and happy are great learning experiences (but I will be so happy when it’s over and we can have our regular schedule back)!
We also have wedding this weekend that Ari is the flower girl. She’s really excited and be prepared, the pictures will be up next week! 🙂 Because of all that is going on, I’m keeping my goals very simple this week!
This Week’s Goals:
Spiritual Goals:
- Pray each day.
Marriage Goals:
- Give Jason a truthful compliment every day.
- Do not let petty house decisions be hurtful to our marriage. I understand why people say building a house is hard on the marriage. It doesn’t have to be and honestly until this week we haven’t had an argument about the house yet. However, it’s easy to let silly “I wants” turn into an argument.
Family Goals:
- Continue Vision Therapy for Nora. This is tricky when we’re not home hardly at all but it’s so important. This is a top priority of the week!
- Get enough sleep!
Homemaking Goals:
- Buy snacks for next week so we aren’t running to the concession stand at fair every 5 minutes.
- Pack 2 boxes of stuff.
- Look for a cabinet for my antique sink.
- Buy ceiling fans while they are on sale
- Look at flooring
Self-Care:
- Watch my water intake. It’s really hot and humid here and we’re outside a lot so being hydrated is very important.
Personal Goals:
- Survive the week!
Womenwithintention.com Goals:
- Pin links from Women With Intention Wednesday.
- Write 3 posts.
- Work on my sidebar. I didn’t get this done last week! It may be wishful thinking but I’m going to try!

I love how you divide the weekly goals into different areas, it is easy to be overcome with everything and this is a great way to help that.
