Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Welcome to another week of Women With Intention Wednesdays!
This week I’m featuring Holly of While I’m Waiting and her post 10 Gifts For Teach Appreciation Week!
I’m also featuring Tay of TGA Writes with her post 5 Things To Know About Bible Journaling!
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just keep them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
-
For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit the blogger before you and your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! I’ve had a few bloggers email me who haven’t had any clicks and there were more last week than any before. Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured post. I will only feature and pin your post if you have followed the rules. All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂
In order to help grow this community with great posts and relationships, I would love it if you would add the party button to your sidebar, your blog directory page, or a text link at the bottom of your post. This isn’t required to participate in the link-up but I would really appreciate it!
If you were featured be sure to grab a button for your site! Thank you for linking up and sharing your great posts!

Community building question of the week: What is one of your favorite birthday memories? Today is my husband’s birthday so I’m in the birthday mood! 🙂
When I was around 12 years old my parents remodeled their home and 2 of my friends and I took the old toilet seats and used them as sleds for my birthday (I’m a December baby). Those seats were so fast (we were probably lucky we didn’t crack our heads open or something when we crashed) and we had an absolute ball “sledding” on them. I also had a lot of roller skating parties as a kid that were really fun!

Happy Birthday to your husband! My favorite birthday memory is the first birthday I celebrated after dating my husband. He decorated his apartment and gave me the sweetest note.
Jenny says
What a great birthday, Karen! I am a sap when it comes to notes! 🙂

Hey, this is my first time to find your site out here in the great wide world! My favorite birthday memories have to do with my boys’ birthdays, not mine, because I have loved doing theme parties for them with refrigerator box fire trucks in the yard and crazy cakes and scavenger hunts that go with the theme. My youngest is 13 now, so the tradition is waning, but I was so happy this year when my daughter-in-law asked me to do “one last scavenger hunt” for my oldest son. Isn’t she a sweetie?
Thanks for hosting this link-up, and blessings on YOU today!

I love doing birthdays for my kids as well. It’s one of my favorites as a mom! I’m glad you found me and look forward to reading your posts!! 🙂

Thank you so much for the feature! What a fun way to start my day!
My favorite birthday memory was the birthday I turned 40. My birthday happens to be on New Years Eve so what’s the best place to be on NYE? That’s right – in the middle of Times Square in NYC! It was awesome and one I’ll never forget!
Thanks again! Have a super day!

Loving these memories everyone is sharing : ) So sweet!
My favorite was my first birthday after getting married as well. My husband knew my previous birthdays hadn’t been happy occasions, so he gathered as many of my close friends as he could and they decorated our apartment while we were at church. When he got home it was a total fun house and we spent the day eating, chatting, laughing and playing games! Then he took me on a surprise roadtrip to add states to our “visited” list and see one my best friends! Total blesssssing!!

My birthday was a few weeks after our first daughter was born. My husband planned the perfect day for me! I morning walk with my girl, then he watched her so I could get a workout in (which was so rare with a newborn…such a treat!), he scheduled a massage for me and then my in-laws watched our girl so we could have a b-day date and enjoy Thai food. It was the perfect day!

Happy Birthday to your hubby, Jenny. Tomorrow is my husband’s birthday! And we are heading out on the road first to the mountains of NY — the Dacks — and then south to the BEACH for a week. OH YEAH!! 🙂 So excited after our LONG NY winter that i had to gush! Anyway…my favorite childhood birthday memories were celebrating at Danbury State Fair in CT in October and sharing the fun with my Poppy whose bday was two days after mine. I wrote about it here… http://sheilakimball.com/2013/10/10/a-grandfathers-love-for-a-little-girl-and-birthdays-at-the-fair-day-10-first-comes-love/ Have a very special day celebrating with your man, Jenny 🙂 Hugs!!
Jenny says
Sheila, that sounds so wonderful! I’d love to go to the beach for a week! 🙂 I hope you both a wonderful time!

I have a March birthday and grew up in New Hampshire, so weather wasn’t always nice for playing outside. I have a very clear memory of celebrating outside in the sun with no snow when I turned 7! another fun one was rollerblading along the beach when I lived in California.

Thanks so much for having me, as always great link up! See you next week!
