Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Last week I really enjoyed all of your posts! Thank you so much for sharing your work! 🙂
This week I’m featuring Lydia from Thrifty Frugal Mom! She shared a very delicious looking recipe for Chocolate Chip Baked Oatmeal. (I am really excited to try it out because I know my kids will love it!)
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just keep them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
-
For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit 2 of your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured post. I will only feature and pin your post if you have followed the rules. All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂
In order to help grow this community with great posts and relationships, I would love it if you would add the party button to your sidebar, your blog directory page, or a text link at the bottom of your post. This isn’t required to participate in the link-up but I would really appreciate it!
If you were featured be sure to grab a button for your site! Thank you for linking up and sharing your great posts!

Community building question of the week:Â If you had the choice between being on a boat, water skiing or laying on the beach, which would you choose?
(I know totally a silly question but we talked about camping at cub scouts tonight and it made me think of boating and summer!)

Beach definitely. Now that I sometimes suffer from vertigo I can easily get seasick and I have been parascending so I’m ok with not water skiing.
Ask me now & I would pick beach. I have up all night with a one year old that wants to hang out instead of sleep, so I would pick the easiest place to sleep. I guess a boat could lull me to sleep also. 😉 either way, I’m looking forward to summer!!
Boat!! I love the beach too but there’s something about flying across that water. Make it a houseboat and I would be ecstatic. My grandparents used to own a boat storage and store/restaurant down by the lake and he also had a large pontoon boat that he would take us on. Great times! Thanks for hosting, the chocolate chip oatmeal looks delicious. ♥
Definitely the beach, but I have to admit I don’t really like laying out on the beach. I love to walk up and down the shore, enjoying the waves. 🙂 Which reminds me, I need to schedule a beach trip soon! We don’t usually go over there in the winter. Hope you have a great day!
Hmmm – I’d probably pick something else, actually (a hike in the mountains). With those three I guess I’ll take the boat. Have a great week.
Thanks for the link up !
I’d definitely pick the boat! I’m not a fan of being super hot and beaches just get too sticky and warm. At least on a boat you can often get a breeze as you move about! Plus I love being out on the water. 🙂
Thanks for the link-up too and especially for featuring me! 🙂
Oh, the beach. Love the sound of the waves and all that lives in the sea. A warm beach would be preferred!
I would definitely want to be on a boat! I am surrounded my lakes and rivers here in NEPA, so that’s where I am most comfortable. We don’t have a boat but we do have a canoe and we enjoy going out whenever we can. Boating and river rafting are big summer time fun here 🙂
Oh my goodness, look at that baked oatmeal! Can’t wait to check it out. 🙂 We live near several lakes, so I spend a lot of time boating in the summers and I love it. But if I had my pick, I would lie on the beach all day with a book.
I would live on a boat if I could but it might be kind of hard with 2 young children and a dog. I grew up on the water and always had a boat. We live about a half a block from a lake now. Someday, I will make enough money to actually live on the lake.
I’d choose laying on the beach so I could read! I’m not much of a water sports person. 🙂
Considering we still have 4 feet of snow on the ground here in Maine – and had freezing rain and another thin layer of snow on top of that overnight – I would LOVE to be back on the beach in Punta Cana! Hubby and I went there back in November 2013 when my middle daughter had a destination wedding. The resort was beautiful and the beach had chairs and thatched umbrellas – and a waiter from the outdoor refreshment eateries would come around, take orders, and serve food and beverages to guests on the beach!
