Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
I can’t believe that we are on week 4 of Women With Intention Wednesdays! Time does fly when we’re having fun!
This week I’m featuring 2 awesome bloggers! Both of these women are great at leaving not only nice comments, but helpful ones as well. If you missed their posts last week you will definitely want to check them out! Michelle from The Happiness Blogger shared her Sparks of Happiness Campaign and Heather from My Overflowing Cup shared her great post on 3 Things God Is Promising Us This Year.
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just keep them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
- For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit 2 of your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured post. I will only feature and pin your post if you have followed the rules. All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂
In order to help grow this community with great posts and relationships, I would love it if you would add the party button to your sidebar, your blog directory page, or a text link at the bottom of your post. This isn’t required to participate in the link-up but I would really appreciate it!
If you were featured be sure to grab a button for your site! Thank you for linking up and sharing your great posts!
Community building question of the week: What is your favorite way to serve others in your community?

Favorite way to serve others… I’m not a chef or even a great cook, but I find myself serving people by serving food. We live in an area where kids are around our house constantly, and food seems to be in high-demand! And, in hosting friends or neighbors, the action of serving a meal or snacks always comes up. Again, not that I excel in it 😉 but it’s where God has me.
Thanks for this link up!

When it comes to hosting my friends and their kids, it seems like food is one of the top ways to serve! I agree! The nice part is that simple things are often enjoyed more than the complex, crazy dishes! With my oldest being almost 12 we’re just starting to have the wave of tween eaters…by the time the rest of the kids catch up I think I may have to double the size of the kitchen lol. Thanks for stopping in, Anne!

I love coming here in an effort to encourage, as I always find that I am encouraged.
Blessings to you and yours.

I used to love making snow ice cream when I was a kid. We haven’t done it as much with our own because some years we don’t get much snow. Which, for this lover of snow, is a sad, sad day. I hope we will still have a shot at snow – I’m going to pin this post just in case so we can make this treat. Thanks for sharing!
Would love for you to share it over on over at Simply Inspired Wednesday at SimplifiedLife.net
Have a blessed week!

Opps – I forgot to answer the community question – which I think is a great one. Our family loves to serve in a hands on way – such as serving at our local food bank. Helping bag groceries and carrying them to our neighbors cars. We also love service projects – last summer we helped re-roof a elderly ladies house and gave the house a new paint job. It was a weekend project with our church but it was wonderful. Those are the kind of things that really bring us together.
Thanks for hosting a great link up!

Jenny, thank you SO much for featuring me! I am really honored. You are awesome 🙂
My favorite way to serve my community is through my church. I just recently became a deacon, which in our church are the “helping hands” of the congregation. We visit homebound members, visit others in hospitals, collect food and other items for the less fortunate. I have also just been recruited to the Outreach committee where we will work to connect our church members with service projects going on in the community and also create more short-term service projects of our own. It’s going to be great!

Thanks for your efforts in host in, Jenny. In our immediate neighborhood I’m looking forward to making and delivering Hot Cross Buns at Easter time. We usually do something at Christmas but just couldn’t get to it this year and decided to go for Easter instead.
