Wishful Wednesday is the day of the week where I take an intentional step to cross something off my “I wish that was done…” list. The goal and intention of Wishful Wednesday is to be able to mark that wish off the list and give you a self-esteem boost that even on a day when maybe it hasn’t been your most productive, you still accomplished something you have been wanting to get done. This wish needs to be accomplished today!
Last week I reworked my grocery budget to get us back on track as I have been excessively spending on groceries. We are also saving as much as we can for a future purchase so by sticking to the budget I can add into the savings. This week, I am still on that same thought process, but instead of working to save money, I’m working on eliminating clutter and earning money!
Today’s Wishful Wednesday project is to take all of our aluminum cans to the recycling center (which cleans up our building and they also pay for the cans so it will earn some money… I haven’t taken them for a long time so I know there are enough to fill the back of my Yukon). I am also going through one tote and listing 15 new things on Facebook (and taking the rest to donate this evening).
What is your favorite method of selling used items? Garage sales, Ebay, Craigslist, Facebook, or consignment? Do you have something that you can remove off of your own, “I wish that was done…” list today?
