Wednesday is the day of the week where I take an intentional step to cross something off my “I wish that was done…” list. This wish needs to be completed today! (I usually aim for less than one hour to finish to be safe that I will get it done). The goal and intention of Wishful Wednesday is to be able to mark that wish off the list and give you a self-esteem boost that even on day when maybe it hasn’t been your most productive, you still accomplished something you have been wanting to get done.
Today’s Wishful Wednesday task is cleaning the laundry room and the inside of washing machine! I was going to wimp out and just do the washer but knew the whole room could use a thorough cleaning! To be honest, I’m tired of looking at it and feeling guilty that it isn’t done, which is exactly why I created Wishful Wednesday.
That said, I’m quite embarrassed to show this picture but I know many of you deal with these kind of issues too (and those of you who are always clean and organized, PLEASE come clean and declutter my house!) I try to be as real and honest with you as I can! In our old farmhouse, my washer and dryer are right off the kitchen in basically a big closet with no doors. The laundry room can quickly become a piling ground for everyone’s stuff that overflows out of the kitchen.
I’ll check back in later today to show off my clean laundry room and washer!
What is one wish you can remove off your own “I wish that was done…” list. It doesn’t have to be a big task, but I guarantee if you choose something and are able to mark it off your wishful list, you will have a great feeling of accomplishment! Feel free to link up or leave a comment!
