I love saving money! I love the rush of a great deal that was something I was going to buy anyway? This is especially true with groceries (and it helps so I can spend my extra money on fun things or to help pay down debt)! April can be an expensive month gifts for upcoming graduations, Easter (depending on the year), and spring sports!
It is possible to save money without spending hours cutting coupons! Here is a list of what to buy in April to help you save some cash and get that fun rush of saving money!
What To Buy In April:
- Clearance Easter items (depending on when Easter falls that particular year) such as treats, baking supplies, and decorations
- Graduation & wedding gifts such as small appliances and cookware.
- Sneakers
- Office supplies
- Gardening supplies
- Vacuum cleaners
- Spring clothes
- Digital cameras
- Car tires and parts. April is National Car Care Month so be on the lookout for free clinics and discounted services!
- Summer airfare deals (especially mid April!)

Hi ladies! Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Welcome to a new week of Women With Intention Wednesdays!
This week I have two featured bloggers for you! The first is from Sarah at The Savvy Adult with her post 16 Ways To Save Money In 2016!
The second featured blogger is Rachel at Smart Mom Smart Ideas with her post Overwhelmed? Secrets to Getting Rest. Thank you all for your great posts! I enjoyed many of them! 🙂
Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
-
For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit the blogger before you and your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured blogger as well as the most popular post. I will only feature you and the most popular posts if you have followed the rules (otherwise I’ll move on to the next most popular post). All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂
I’d love for you to add a button to help spread the word about Women With Intention Wednesdays (thank you)!
If you were featured, please feel free to grab this button!

Community Building Question: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you visit?
I choose anywhere warm with a beach and no cell phones, computers, or tablets! 🙂
Have you enjoyed what you read here today? Do you have friends or other women you know that could benefit from this resource? If so, please do me a favor! I have included the links below to share with other intentional women! They’ll be glad you did!

Somewhere in the southwest. Maybe the Grand Canyon again? Or somewhere in the desert?
Angela @ Setting My Intention says
Ooh Michele, I’m going to the Grand Canyon at the end of the month with my mom and sisters. Any suggestions while out there? I think we’ll be on the South Rim.
Emily says
Tough question. Anywhere in the world?? I would be happy with a short trip out to San Diego to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful weather.
I would have to think long and hard and research if I was going to plan something out of the US. 🙂
Angela @ Setting My Intention says
I would go to Thailand! I’ve heard such great things about it and I know we’d love the food.
Victoria Mininger says
I would love to visit Australia someday. In the meantime the beach will do 🙂
Thanks for another great link-up!

A bungalow on the beach!

I recently moved to a warm, sunny, beach town. So I’m going to say, a city! I’d love to travel to an old European city. Maybe Berlin? I’ve never been.
Vienna is amazing. The museums, the architecture, the food!
June says
There are so many amazing places! I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland, although I know I probably won’t like the weather, lol. I’m more of a beach girl, too! Thanks for hosting, Jenny! Have a blessed week!
