Isn’t it fun when you get a great deal on something that you were wanting to buy anyway? I always get a big rush when I can stock up on something that we use a lot for a low price! This is especially true with groceries (and it helps so I can spend my extra money on fun things or to help pay down debt)!
It is possible to save money without spending hours cutting coupons! Here is a list of what to buy in March to help you save some cash and get that fun rush of saving money!
**Be sure to only buy what you can use! It’s not a good deal if you will end up throwing it away! I recommend stocking up on what you will use for 3 months because that is generally how long it takes for the sales cycle to come back around!
What To Buy In March:
Frozen Foods- March is frozen foods month. This is the time to take advantage and stock up on frozen dinners, breakfast foods, pizzas, veggies, desserts, and those great convenience foods that help you out when cooking from scratch isn’t possible!
Seasonal Produce- Some of the more popular produce includes oranges, strawberries, tangerines, carrots, peas, asparagus, spinach, avocado, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, mushrooms, and onions to name a few!
March Madness Snacks- Be on the lookout for snack foods for your favorite games! Stock up on snacks like wings, soda, chips, cheese, crackers, and fruit or veggie trays.
Spring Cleaning Supplies- Look out for great deals on household cleaners! Make sure it is a good deal because cleaners go on sale throughout the year where you can get items for nearly free (although if you don’t want to coupon this is a great time)!
St. Patrick’s Day Foods- Eggs, ham, cabbage, and corned beef will be on sale. Watch after the holiday for clearance prices to stock up!
