So…I have to tell you all about a little tool that I’ve been using to help visualize my goals and that tool is a vision board.
Vision boards are also known as dream boards and vision or treasure maps. This useful tool helps you put your dreams and goals down on paper (or through an app) so you have a place to see them, visualize what you are working for, and dream.
When you make a vision board, it should make you happy! You are creating how you want to feel and what you want in life in one place. You should put it somewhere you will see it frequently because when you do you mind is visualizing those dreams and goals, bringing your board to fruition.
Visualization has become increasingly popular with books like The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. Elrod recommends visualizing when you do his S.A.V.E.R.S. technique. The Secret also discusses visualization. Visualization is also popular in athletics!
Creating your own vision board doesn’t need to be difficult. You can create on paper, poster board, or on your phone with an app like Pic Stitch. Be creative and do whatever makes you happiest! All you need are pictures, quotes, stickers, markers, affirmations, or whatever makes you happy that you can put on that board!
Have you ever made a vision board?
Happy Wednesday! Thanks for joining in the party!
I don’t know about you but I am totally off on my days!! I keep thinking it’s Tuesday instead of Wednesday!
So if you end up joining me on Thursday welcome! 🙂
Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Welcome to a new week of Women With Intention!
This weeks featured blogger is Valerie from Cord of 6 with her post Searching the Scriptures: Book Review.
Welcome to Women With Intention Wednesdays!
Here is what you will find at Women With Intention Wednesdays:
- This is a link up party where you come to encourage one another, have fun, and share your best posts to help women live their best life!
- In other words, any post that you have written about Christian living, homemaking, relationships, healthy living, living a frugal life or that helps another woman can be included in this link up! Please just them family friendly (I reserve the right to remove anything that I feel isn’t appropriate).
- This link up is beneficial for every woman! Whether you are a blogger or a reader, this is one you won’t want to miss! I’m very excited to offer this link up as a place to not only build new relationships between bloggers but also by providing an awesome resource of information for my readers!
Here are the rules of this link up:
- You must link directly to your post (no homepages, please).
- Please link up no more than 2 posts each week and please do not link up the same post week after week.
-
For every link you add, please visit the link before you and one other of your choice. If your links are consecutive visit the blogger before you and your choice for the 2nd link. It’s impossible to build relationships when no one communicates! Please don’t link and run!
- By linking up you give me permission to share your posts and photos on this blog and social media. Each week I will choose a featured blogger and possibly another post such as the most popular post. I will only feature you and the most popular posts if you have followed the rules (otherwise I’ll move on to the next most popular post). All features will be linked back to the original source.
- You also give me permission to email you a quick reminder that the party is live. You may opt out anytime. I don’t spam my readers with emails.
- Answer the community building question below so we all get to know each other! That’s the purpose of being here! 🙂

What is something you like to make that has chicken in it?
I bought too many chicken breasts and thighs at Sam’s and need to use them up! 🙂 Please and thanks! My favorite is grilled sweet chili bacon wrapped chicken.
Have you enjoyed what you read here today? Do you have friends or other women you know that could benefit from this resource? If so, please do me a favor! I have included the links below to share with other intentional women! They’ll be glad you did!

My family likes chicken marinated in teriyaki and then grilled or oven broiled. Another favorite is chicken and rice soup, which is literally as easy as it sounds because it has chicken and rice in it. The broth is chicken broth and milk, and I season it with a little sage. Yup, that’s it, and my boys and their friends eat it as if it was an actual thing. Go figure.

Thank you for featuring my post this week! My husband makes honey mustard chicken and it’s my favorite meal with some mashed potatoes! Yum!

I’m so thankful that the Lord led me to your blog to find other sisters in Christ to link up with; I can’t wait to come back next week Lord willing! So.. one of my favorite things to make with chicken is called chicken tetrazzini. It’s so good!

Glad to have you, Emily! 🙂

I am loving this link-up. I have visited with several of you. I wish I had more time today, but I’ll come back during the week. I’ll be scheduling shares from this link-up throughout the week. We love Bourbon Chicken (without the bourbon). It’s pretty spicy but one of the few things the whole family will eat. Often, I double or even triple the recipe with the intention to freeze some of it, but there is never enough left over.

So many things! Chicken Enchiladas and Gyros using chicken in the crockpot are some of my favorites!

I’ve never heard of a vision board. Interesting.

I love breaded chicken with pasta. I only wish I could make it like my Italian Mama! 🙂

Jenny, this is such a great idea! I’ve never made one, but I’m definitely going to. Thanks so much for sharing and hosting! GOD bless you, beautiful friend! 🙂

I’ve never made a vision board on paper, but I suppose I have one in my head. 😉
Chicken Pot Pie is one of my perennial favorites with chicken. Easy and healthy (for the most part, ha).
