It’s been one amazingly productive day today! However, not on the blog, just at home! Therefore, I’m late getting these up but better late than not at all! I’m very happy to report my daughter is feeling much better after her tonsillectomy last week.
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have a date night and send Jason a love note
2. Keep our oldest hydrated and comfortable after her tonsillectomy
3. Read 10 books aloud to kids
4. Give each child a compliment daily about a strength they have. (I have a terrible habit of being on their case all the time when they do wrong, but don’t praise them when I should. I hate that about my parenting so I’m working on it!)
Intentional Homemaking:
5. Finish organizing the kids’ clothes so I know what I need to buy for back to school clothes.
6. Get kitchen plans from cabinet guy & meet with builder
7. Get online and print some of vacation and 4-H photos
Intentional Self-Care:
8. Stay on track with Weight Watcher’s points Not perfect, but progress!
9. Exercise on the elliptical 3 times. I didn’t get on the elliptical, but I did exercise outside 3 times so I’m counting it!
10. Finish The Cure for the “Perfect” Life (I got an advanced copy of this book to review on the blog! I’m about halfway through and am loving this book!) Read 3 chapters in Smart Money Smart Kids: Raising the Next Generation to Win with Money (I started this on vacation and am Chapter 3. So far, I’m enjoying this book and am always looking for ways to teach the kids about money management.)
Intentional Blogging:
11. Write 3 blog posts and be more consistent in blogging!
