My “One Word” for 2014 is present! Therefore, each Monday I list my intentional, present goals for the week. My goals are broke down into relationship, homemaking, self-care, and blogging. I’d love for you to leave a comment and let me know what your goals are for this week as well!
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have weekly date night with Jason & write love note
2. Enjoy first few days of summer vacation with the kids by keeping a positive attitude, sign up for summer reading program at the library, and play outside with the kids each day.
3. Praise each member of my home daily and let them know that I love them. This has been hard for me and I’m embarrassed to admit it! This is definitely something I need to work on more!
Intentional Homemaking:
4. Make list of educational plans for next week & buy any items needed
5. Catch up on laundry
6. Finish cleaning office
7. Complete 3 DIY Pinterest activities- I totally got distracted putting together the kids’ summer school stuff.
8. Mow grass
9. Water Garden Daily
Intentional Self-Care:
10. Read 2 chapters in The Mission of Motherhood: Touching Your Child’s Heart of Eternity by Sally Clarkson (One of my favorite books ever. I’ve read it before, but it always gets my heart prepared for summer vacation and my focus on why I am a mom!)
11. Take 5 walks, drink 24 oz of water daily, and eat fruit for snacks I did well on the fruit until we left for the weekend….then not so much!
Intentional Blogging:
12. Finish up 21 Days of Preparing For Summer series
13.Write 2 blog posts
14. Blog about one of the activities I do with the children or a DIY project from Pinterest (Are you on Pinterest? I’d love to follow you and would be grateful if you follow me back!)
