I don’t feel like I got much done this last week, but after looking at my goals list, I’m feeling quite a bit better about my progress! My house is a mess so this week as I’m working on our 31 Days Of Organizing & Decluttering Challenge, I hope that helps the problem! How did you do on your goals last week?
Last Week’s Goals:
Intentional Relationships (Marriage/Parenting/Mentoring/Friendships):
1. Have weekly date night with Jason & write love note
2. Play the sight word pancake game and word family game with sticky notes with the twins
3. Continue working on reading with the twins at least 2 nights. Read Owl at Home: I Can Read Level 2 (I Can Read Book 2) and Owls in the Family aloud.
4. Spend a day doing fun activities with kids. Make 4-H storage boxes & do at home pedicures. My goal is to not worry about the house, but to focus on a fun day with the family!- We didn’t do pedi’s but we had a very fun day!
Intentional Homemaking:
5. List 10 new items on Facebook & sell at least 5 items on Facebook
6. Deep clean both bathrooms. Find 10 items to sell or donate! – Finished one, but didn’t get the other one done
7. Stay under budget on groceries for the week.
Intentional Self-Care:
7. Get a hair cut
8. Go to dentist appointment
9. Cut back on caffeine by drinking 3 glasses of water during the day to see if headaches improve. Place sticky notes around the house to remind me!
10. Read Blog at Home Mom: Balancing Blogging and Motherhood
Intentional Blogging:
11. Complete comments for Commentathon
12. Write 5 new blog posts
13. Work on blog only during time allotted for blogging so I can spend more time with my family. I’m really trying to spend less time on the blog and more time with the kids and concentrating on the priorities of life.

Great job knocking out your goals! Are the things you sell on FB things around the home or things you buy specifically to sell?
Jenny says
Thank you! Yes, it’s just stuff around the house. Last week I sold some homeschooling items I wasn’t using, some of the boys’ jeans they’d outgrown, stuff like that! With 5 kids we have WAY too much stuff around here!

How do you go about selling on facebook? If I posted something to sell, I am not sure my “friends” would appreciate it! And my friend list is much shorter than a lot of people
Jenny says
There are several online groups in my area that people either invite you to or you can request to join. For example if you lived in Lincoln you could do a search on Facebook for “Lincoln area exchange” or “Lincoln buy/sell/trade” you might find a group to join. I list my stuff under these groups, not under my personal page. I agree, my friends probably wouldn’t really care for it either 😉 Does that help you at all? I’m happy to help. Obviously if you do this, use common sense with people, don’t meet them at your home, I always meet at a neutral place like Walgreens or a grocery store, etc.

I love your list of goals – bravo! I’m gathering things to sell on Craigslist/FB, myself. I love your goal of only working on blogging during the allotted time – that sounds like a fabulous plan. I think I should try that, too! Hoping you have a wonderful week!

You did much better on your goals than I did! http://slackersaver.com/2014/03/goals-for-the-week-11/

You did great on your goals last week! Hope they go well this week. How is Blog at Home Mom? I haven’t read that one yet. Love that you have handwritten cards on your list. I want to send a little package to a couple friends, so that will be showing up on mine hopefully sometime soon. I used to write letter and cards all the time but have slacked off.
