It’s Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for a new week and adventures.
What do you have happening this week?
Each week I list out my 5 favorite things from the last week as well as my goals for the upcoming week. Did you have anything great happen last week?

1. My baby boy is 6!
What a fun day! Two birthday cakes, homemade ice cream, super cool presents, and lots and lots of giggles. What more could a boy want for his birthday?
2. My new Erin Condren notebooks!
As you all know, I have a very bad paper addiction. From planners, to notebooks, I love them all, especially Erin Condren paper products.
(Right now when you buy a deluxe notebook you get the calendar insert for free.)
I’ve been dying to try one of these beauties out! One is going to be a Home Management Notebook where I can get everything for the new house organized (what paint goes in which room, measurements, cleaning routines, and) Stay tuned… more to follow!
3. Look what I got in the mail to review!
I’m totally excited about Get Yourself Organized for Christmas: Simple Steps to Enjoying the Season especially because it fits right in my yearly decluttering challenge in December. I love Kathi’s books because they are always funny, helpful, and evidently she really gets me because of a lot of what she writes really hits home. I’m excited to be sharing my review with you all soon!
4. Nora’s Vision Therapy Progress.
Vision therapy is one of the most complex commitments that I’ve made in a long time! Working 5 days a week with a 7-year-old can be trying to say the least.
VT is kind of like learning a new habit. It can take a long time for improvement, we set goals, and have measurable results.
One of Nora’s exercises is to look through a set of circles. We have been working on this exercise for a month and hadn’t seen results… Until yesterday!
The end goal for Nora is to be able to look through the circles from 20 feet away.
Until yesterday the farthest she could go was 12 inches. Yesterday we made it 11’3″. I seriously did the happy dance.
Perseverance pays off!
5. We have drywall (and I have chosen paint)!
I have a tendency to not be very decisive when it comes to paint. I usually don’t think the colors I choose look as good as they did on the paint chip sample so I have honestly been dreading choosing paint. However, I enlisted the help from my #1 person who knows my taste…mom. We had those colors put together in under 15 minutes for the whole house. I am so relieved and now am even more excited about the progress of the house.

Brittany, I love them, too… I think could be long lost blogging sisters. Love your habit tracker! Good luck with the no spend month. I like to do it in 2 weeks spans verses a whole month (I can’t stay disciplined that long! There are posts on that here if you need any ideas.) Thanks for linking up! 🙂
