Today’s project was organizing and decluttering your photographs.
I had a date with our oldest daughter this afternoon so we didn’t have a lot of time to put into this project today but I did manage to get one entire tote of pictures and kids keepsakes organized, decluttered, and cleaned out!
I did my organizing by child because this tote had a lot of artwork that I had saved inside of it. I managed to throw quite a bit away but also kept what I thought the kids would like to look at when they’re older. My favorite was, “I love my mom because she helps me make Valentine’s and calendars.” Hmm…I have always been into Valentine’s Day but I don’t remember making calendars!
In this process I also had success decluttering! I found 2 baby albums that I’m going to sell either online or on our upcoming garage sale, 4 frames that had pictures of me as a senior in high school (emptied and also put into garage sale pile) and a set of blank baby announcements.
How did you do today with organizing and decluttering your pictures?
(Have you missed the previous challenges? Don’t worry you can jump in right where we are in the series and go back later if you want to catch up or just finish out what we’re working on with us! I’m so happy that you are joining us in organizing and decluttering your home!)
