It’s update time! I’m so excited to find out how you did on your decluttering and cleaning the living room challenge today! I am very happy to report that I completed the challenge AND I found several items to donate and throw away.
This stand by our television is one of the worst hot spots in our house. It collects clutter faster than I can clean it off! In the past I’ve used it to store diapers and baby changing supplies. The kids also keep our favorite DVD’s on it. During the winter season our breathing treatment machine and supplies are kept there for when they are needed. The kids love to shelve toys on it, use it as a table to color on, pile papers and stack books. (I am sure by this evening someone will have had to stuff something on it!)
Today as I was decluttering the living room, I found many things to donate. I found an entire package of Pull-Ups. I found some swimming diapers that we will no longer need now that the youngest is potty trained! I also found some trash, a few toys to donate, and some dirty socks behind the stand with the DVD player.
Our living room was mostly clean from having the birthday party last Friday. It felt good to dust, vacuum, and get the cobwebs to complete the process!
Were you able to complete the challenge of decluttering your living room? Please let me know if you were able to bless someone else (and if you were able to relax with a book! I’m going to do that now!)
