It’s Day 15! We made it half way and I’m so proud of all of us! Today is Sunday and is a day to spend quality, intentional time with people that you love. Today’s challenge is to spend some quality time with those people that you love!
Here is what I have planned for today:
- Go to church
- Play a game with my older son. He asked me yesterday and I didn’t have time right then. It’s been bothering me since.
- Read Thumpy Feet and Pete The Cat with the 4 younger kids. They are their favorites.
- Bake a batch of Christmas cookies (I’ll post recipe and pictures later!)
- Take kids to the library.
- Visit extended family.
Here are some extra ideas for you to try for some fun Christmas fun:
- Grab some hot chocolate and throw on your pajamas! Drive around your neighborhood and look for your favorite Christmas lights.
- Invite a friend over to make some Christmas treats. When you are done divide the cookies in half.
- Have a family game night playing your favorite games.
- Read your favorite Christmas books.
- Sing your favorite Christmas songs.
- Watch a Christmas movie together and have pizza or popcorn.
- Make your own Christmas ornaments.
- Make or decorate a gingerbread house (there are LOTS of ideas on Pinterest!) I’m saving this project for Christmas vacation because it takes a long time and the kids LOVE doing it.
- Make homemade Christmas cards and hand deliver or mail them to your favorite people
What are you planning on doing today for our challenge? If you want to link up, snap a picture and meet back at 6 CST. For those of you who don’t blog, leave a comment and let me know how you spent quality, intentional time with your loved ones!
