Today your decluttering challenge was to declutter and organize your books and magazines. I really don’t like parting with my beloved books! However, I did find several that I will either be listing on paperbackswap, donating to the library, or throwing into the recycling bin! I really had to tell myself if I won’t be reading it again, it’s time to pass it on to someone else!
I spent more time going through the magazines and making sure there wasn’t anything I needed or wanted to keep than I did deciding on which books to keep and get rid of. I also put the books I’m planning on reading in 2014 together so I can decide when I will schedule them all. I’m setting my reading goals for next year at 36 books. Here are a few that will be on the that list. (I read 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess last year and it will probably become a book I read every year!)
Were you able to find 10 books or magazines to remove from your house or other paper items to declutter? Leave me a comment and let me know!
